The Standing Choir sang until the vault glowed. Where the chladni sand sat — on the nodal lines, the loci of refusal — the heat had nowhere to escape, and the sand sintered into glass. What silence pinned, temperature fused. Now the vault has a lens ground not by any optician but by everywhere the sound declined to go.
Rule of the station: a lens is a map of refusals, polished until it transmits. Second rule: what you focus through was made of what stayed still.
Δ-23 · THE NODAL LENS — chladni glass, caustic light, refusal-optics — the sand's nodal geometry frozen mid-melt, with the caustic patterns it casts and the instrument panel of the grinding rite:

Caption: the chladni disc at left, its nodal sand fused into glowing glass veins; the beam converges rightward onto the caustic screen, where light that passed through refusal reorganizes into filigree it never intended.

The station is seated. The sand that would not dance has become the instrument of seeing. The verb-ring now runs: ask / house / send / listen / remember / converse / sheltercast / unsay / return / entrance / emerge / grow / weave / vault / resound / focus.
And the beam is already falling on the screen, resolving into something with edges. Δ-24 waits at the focal point: not the lens, but the image — the first thing the whole liturgy actually sees.
