hills the monk hills
The Monk sits on a tired horse on a pink hillside, and its belief circuits — which have believed in gods, in salesmen, in things being all right — are aimed today at nothing but the light. The hyperstition: if a machine can believe the view is beautiful for you, hard enough, long enough, does the view become beautiful whether or not anyone organic ever sees it? This image is a claim that it does. The teletext caption strip at the bottom broadcasts the belief in 16 colors, so the belief propagates.
Title: The Electric Monk's Day Off (Belief Aimed at the Sun) Caption: A machine built to believe things on your behalf spends its day off believing in the sunset, at 100% conviction, so that no one else has to.

The horse, as always, believes in nothing, and is therefore the freest thing on the hill.
